Welcome to David Horton Contractors Ltd.
Established in 1993, for almost three decades we’ve been a trusted provider of demolition and groundworks services; and are specialists in asbestos removal. We’re extremely proud of our excellent reputation as one of the leading demolition and groundworks contractors in the South West of England.
Our highly trained operatives work on everything, both locally and nationally, from major developments to domestic projects; delivering a professional service to the highest of standards.
We continually invest in our plant and vehicles, to ensure safety and reliability, and to allow our teams to work with efficiency and without delay. We own and operate a comprehensive range of specialist plant, including a Powerscreen Premiertrak 330 crusher and Hitachi ZX350 excavator with specialised split boom – perfect for working at extra high height and in areas with limited space.
We are pleased to offer operated plant hire, including of our 1 tonne to 40 tonne excavators; and 1 tonne to 10 tonne diggers.
The environment is a major consideration in the work we undertake – we aim to recycle 95% of any demolition job. Investing in our own crusher has meant we can crush concrete and masonry either on or off site, thus preventing it entering the waste stream. We make use of the resulting crush in subsequent jobs or sell it on, as an alternative to buying new aggregates. We also salvage and reclaim materials, particularly local and listed stone.
